  • You are my favorite site for French luxury foods. When I need something, you are not «just out» or awaiting shipment. I have greatly appreciated your list of old French cookbooks. Keep up the good work!

I ate my first truffle at a wonderful french restaurant in Boston. It was a lovely fragrant black truffle Mac N Cheese. Since then I have been sampling dishes here in San Francisco anytime I find truffles on the menu….and that is rare. I decided I needed to buy them and cook for myself and my friends. I have had a very difficult time finding them until I found a mushroom store in the Ferry Building here in San Francisco. I bought my first whole black tuber melanosporum this week and plan to make truffle omelets today for brunch. I hope you are right!. I will not add anything but the truffles and farm fresh eggs. Thanks for the recipe. Simple is often the best and most elegant way to serve a food.

In a nutshell this cookbook is for everyone. I believe a large majority of people are mislead and misinformed when it comes to nutrition and eating habits. In North America we live in one of the most overweight places in the world. And I think a book like this goes a long way in helping solve that problem.
